On July 4, 2007, Ramona VFW Post 3783 held a Memorial service for Corporal Gregory N. Millard, U.S. Army, who was killed in action in Samarra, Iraq on May 26, 2007. Millard's family are shown at the Post's Memorial Wall. During the ceremony, Gregory's mother, who is wearing his dog tags, placed his name plaque on the wall in tribute to her son's supreme sacrifice to duty and country.
