Shown is Sgt Robert Wakefield, U.S. Army veteran of WWII accepting donations for Buddy Poppies on Memorial Day weekend of 2007 at the Albertson's store in Ramona. With his help and many other volunteers of Post 3783, over $6000 was collected to assist VFW veterans in need of assistance.
