THE VFW-PAC MISSION

ENTITLEMENTS - One of the main goals of the Veterans of Foreign Wars is to ensure that the veterans receive the entitlements that are due to them. One of the ways we can accomplish this is to endorse those candidates based on their support for veterans and VFW legislative goals. Due to the strength of our organization, legislators need our endorsement and we need their support in Congress.

VFW - A NON-PARTISAN ORGANIZATION

     The VFW is non-partisan, and does not make endorsements based on party affiliation or any other issue except National Security and Veterans. The VFW-PAC endorses candidates who support veteran’s entitlements and VFW legislative goals.

CONTRIBUTIONS AND AWARDS

     The VFW/PAC is supported solely by voluntary financial contributions, which can be donated by individuals and/or from Posts and Auxiliaries. These donated funds must have been raised through activities clearly advertised as strictly for the VFW/PAC. Regular Post and Auxiliary funds cannot be used to make donations for the VFW/PAC.

     Individuals, Posts and Auxiliaries making contributions deserve special thanks and recognition. To express this appreciation, the following awards are made:

A donation of $100.00                VFW PAC Certificate *
A donation of $500.00                VFW PAC Plaque
A donation of $1,000.00             Golden Eagle Award

     *Those awarded a $100 plaque in previous years are entitled to receive a $100 Plaque Medallion in place of the VFW/PAC Certificate. To ensure proper recognition, contributors should use the VFW Contribution Form (CAVFW FORM-21). Note: For any checks received without a contribution form, VFW/ PAC will credit the organization or individual shown on the check. Individual contributions must include: Name, address, Department, and Post or Auxiliary. If this information is not included with an individual donation, credit will go to the individual's Department.
